Espadin Mezcal

Mezcal Espadin is a type of Mezcal made with the agave espadin plant. Espadin is to Mezcal what Blue Agave is to tequila, 90% of all mezcals produced in Mexico are made with this type of agave.

Espadin species make up 90% of mezcal production. It is the genetic parent of the A. tequilana species that is used for tequila, and it shares some of the floral and tropical flavors of its offspring, which can vary depending on its region of growth.
