The Trinidad Sour is a cocktail made with Angostura bitters, orgeat syrup(a sweet nut-based syrup), lemon juice, and rye whiskey. The orgeat, lemon juice helps balance the herbal intensity of the bitters, making the Trinidad Sour a delight. The cocktail recipe was invented by Las Vegas bartender Giuseppe Gonzalez.

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
1 1/2 ounce Angostura bitters
1/2 ounce Rye whiskey
3/4 ounce Lemon juice
1 ounce Orgeat
1 garnish Lemon twist

Instructions

1.
Add the Angostura bitters, rye whiskey, lemon juice and orgeat into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

Double-strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.
3.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

Serve and enjoy!
