Tipperary

The Tipperary is a cocktail made with Irish whiskey, sweet red Vermouth, green Chartreuse, and Angostura bitters. Though perhaps less mainstream than some of its fellow classic cocktails, the Tipperary has been around for quite some time. It first appeared in the 1916 printing of "Recipes for Mixed Drinks" by Hugo R. Ensslin.

| 1 1/2 ounce Irish whiskey | |
| 1 ounce Sweet vermouth | |
| 1/2 ounce Green Chartreuse | |
| 2 dash Angostura bitters | |
| 1 garnish Orange twist |
Instructions
1.
Add the Irish whiskey, sweet vermouth, green Chartreuse and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
2.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3.
Garnish with an orange twist over the glass and discard.
4.
Serve and enjoy!
